International church day
This morning, the usual 3 - mum(Kat), Dad(Don) and kid (Joy) was companied by another 3 others to church. Fitting just right into the new green caravan. Kanako (Japanese), Heyjin (Korean) and Salimi (Afghan) have join us for church! I was surprise by how "Onz" they are when Kat asked them if they want to go to church with us. They enjoyed the service and have understand the preaching. Praise the Lord. Though they are not christian, they seems pretty interested to join us next time to church because they can also improve their Enlgish by speaking to other Americans. Joo sung another Korean, have joined us for home group a couple time. A pity he have to work today and can't join us at church. We went to the food mall he is working after our service for lunch. Seeing him so busy cooking food, we decided not to bother him but just look at him flustering around.. Hahaa...It was a very funny sight and i will always say "Poor Joo Sung..." =P
Americans are often very excited to meet so many different of us...Hahaa... somehow I believe they can't really differentiate us, especially Singaporeans.. I am often mistaken as Taiwanese (Even taiwanese thought i am one of them...)..Kat was mistaken as Japanese or Korean while Don...I feel he look like Thai...hahaa.... It was a great Sunday. :D
