Humane Society

This day i have been so looking forward to...

I was volunteering at the humane Society today... An animal shelter. All we had to do is walk and play with the dogs and socialise with the cats. They are all really sweet and lovable bunch, which makes me rather sad. Why do people give them up?

I walk a 6yr old big lab mix sheperd dog. He is so so obedient. He respond to my call and stop when i stop walking, he don't drag me to where he wants to go. Such a sweet dog. Rossco, i think is a spaniel mix beagal. MAn ....he is strong! When he runs he is really pulling me man. HE is so lovable too...I squat down and was patting him. Guess what? he push me and i was knock down to the grassy ground (Thank god didn't land on any poo poo). He start licking me on my face and roll on his back to let me rub his tummy. Later on i was playing with a litter of lab mix puppies!! Awww...I so wanted to adopt all of them(especially the black ones!)

Lastly, I went to the cats playden. Dale, A white with gray patches cat jump onto me and lift his head to look at me with so much affection! I stroke underneath his neck...He so so enjoys it. I let him sit on me for almost 20mins and he just wanted to be stroke and pat all the time. I never met such affectionate cat before.

It was alot of fun for me. We were all waiting for the school bus to come pick us up near the playden for the dogs. Rossco and a 2 other dogs were standing there looking at us...I feel so sad for them. All of them deserve better.

I wonder how is Oreo...haven't got any updates for months. :(
