Sigh...again...

Yesterday i have spend my 2 months pay on a new bicycle. Yeah...a good aluminum Trek Bike. I am happy with it, go twice as fast compare to my cheapo walmart bike which have slowly rust till the gears are irritating me way too much. Especially now i have to rush from work to school, i might as well spend my $ on a good bike that can last me for my next 2 years.

Guess what, today I was cycling along the road in a pretty fast speed..Suddenly the door of a white car that is parked along the road open!!! I swerve, and as my sense of balance is really bad... I lost control..felll and flew of my bike..

Picture this, when i pick myself up and turn back to pick up my bike...I see at least 4 cars behind. All stop on the road because of me.... a driver came out and ask if i am ok. A black guy came out from his shop to ask if i need to wash my wounds or clean myself. And then a police car at the opposite road stop and ask if I am ok. Honestly i am fine...my abrasion are not really bleeding, just some skin tear.. but now after pressing here and there on my legs, i realise i got more brusies than i thought. Anyway, I am so heartache!! My new bike is only 1 day old and i fell...I was so afraid it got dented or what...but Thank God it rides fine still....

Oh, as for that guy who open the car door..He didnt event apologise, he just ask if i am ok and then after i replied him, he disappeared. I really dont blame him, my sense of balance is really bad...Oh well..I continue to ride on to the security office and register my bike.

Low in the valley...

I can't believe i am actually suffering from sinus..pretty bad this time ... Since coming to Savannah, is the 1st time i been sick for so long. My nose is stuffy nd i can feel my cheeks and ears area swelling. Taking medication have made me drowsy most of the time. I most prob will be seeing a doctor soon before i get any infection...sigh..provided i got the time to travel to the clinic.

Joy is losing her joy, she can hardly breathe and she been losing sleep....her parents will be officially retiring next week. She never expect this will come so soon and she wonder how she is goign to finish her studies...She knew she have to finish this race real good to get a good job to pay back her parents...is a long run and sometimes she wish for a time out...and this is the time she is feeling rather low...low in the valley...but every valley will come a hill...she just want to be on top of the hill again. And she will be...soon...

What can go wrong, went wrong

Yesterday was my 1st day of term. This term i am working 7am -11am in my school gym. Yesterday morning i woke up earlier to work out in my gym before i open it. Guess what...530am, while standing outside my huse, I realise..I DONT HAVE KEYS TO OPEN GYM AR!!! Darn...No choice gota call co-worker and wake her up..so embrass about it, 530am man! End up she only have the keys to the unlock the lift, no keys to main entrance of the building. Oh well, still i grab the keys and hurried to the gym.... I jog 10mins on treadmill and decided to go up and call my friend whom i pass the key to. 630am..Thank God she finally answer the call! I cheong down to her house and get back my keys and rush back to take the shower in the gym. Damn..already 650am. I rush into the bathroom, while shampooing my head i realise.... FORGET TO TAKE TOWEL!!! I put back my sweaty Tshirt and ran out to the counter and grab towel. Is almost 7am and if one of the coach comes in earlier and see me butt naked...then gone case....hahah...so i swish swash quickly shower and go unlock the lift. phew... immediately got people come into the gym. I still sitting at counter combing my wet hair. As my class starts at 11 and is like 25 mins to cycle there i had to leave earlier...but the coach left again and no one to tend the counter...end up i left at around 1045 and i cycle like crazy to the other side of the town. Moreover, the sun is not helping much...Is so so so Hot ok... 32 degreee, but the dry weather makes it feel like 39 or smthing.

That Blue Ridge Mountain

The drive to blue ridge mountain was a long 6 hrs drive. I have to salute the drivers to keep their eyes wide open while the rest are dozing off in the car. The traffic in Atlanta is rather busy, in my view i felt is quite terrible! I guess i have been away from city area for too long, it is actually not as bad as Singapore during peak hours.

It was a very eventful day upon our arrival. Due to inexperience in driving on gravel roads, the car i was sitting in wasstuck in the steep gravel road. Futhermore we reverse into a ditch. One of the wheel were already half way in. Thank God we were not far away from our cabin. We carried our bags and stuffs up the steep hill to the cabin. We then were looking for wooden planks and whatever junk we think it would help to get the car out of the ditch. We spend 2 hrs of pushing, turning the wheels and ramping the accelarator; we finally manage to get the car out and up the steep hill to the cabin. We were all clapping and cheering...hahaha...I bet the locals staying nearby can hear us.

Settling down was quite exciting too, we found small scorpian in out bath tub and big black ants here and there. Still the small decent wooden cabin have its charm. We then went out to nearby Walmart to buy food and necessary stuffs. Back in the cabin, I got stung by a wasp...No idea when it land on my arm area, i simply put down my arm n I got stung...Just like that. Voila~ It hurts like a bad injection...Kat look at me seriously and say if I feel any problem breathing, i need to be send to the hospital immediately. The stung area start to swell and i try to ice it down. Well, through this i know Wasp sting can kill a person. I am still alive so thank God for that.

Arr..i am too lazy to continue on my journey...All in all...Is been a lazy trip! I been sleeping and eating and go to see one waterfall..soak in hot tub, play with my friend's dog she is taking care of. On the way back drop by Atlanta's Korean supermarket. It is so weird to be surrounded by chinese! Is like i haven't see so many chinese in a place for such a looooong time! I had a nice spicy korean meal too...mm...yummy...

The Summer Break Updates

Is been 4 days since the break. I realise i haven't really update much about what's going on in my life. Laziness have overtaken me so i am going to list in point form..again..haahaha

1) I am going to Blue Ridge mountain Tomorrow for 1 week! Staying in a cabin, relaxing, sketch, do some water color...oo yeah.... AND someone is dropping by for a visit... *excited*

2) My grades is out..I got 2 As and 1 C. I am not please with my C for my Art history 2. Mainly because is the way the professor judges us. Unreasonable! Part of me wanted very much to write an email to demand to see my grades for each test and assignment because according to my calculation i should have gotten a B! It pull my GPA points down to 3.66. Then another part of me say just let it go...I chose that mainly cause i am lazy to argue..Muahaha...but that will cost me being not in the Dean's list this term. Darn...

3) I pass my driving test yesterday! Oh yea, i can officially drive in Georgia. Although i have drove illeagaly a few times...hahaha...My advice, if u have not got your license and am planning to come US to study, take the test here! Only cost 20USD...very easy to pass...It took me 4 times to pass in Singapore... I am 1 step closer to wanting a Jeep, but over here Jeep are one of the more expensive vehicle..seems like I got expensive taste.

4) I had a phone interview with MDA last thursday regarding my grant again. Not sure if I will finally be bless financially this year. The interview were filled with laughter from the other side...oh..God Bless me...

5) Both my music players have forsaken me. The normad i had for 3 years is producing no sound while the 1 yr old player my brother gave me is not switching on...all due to my clumsiness by dropping them on the floor. Oh well, I am eyeing Ipod 30GB with video now!

That's it...I shall update when i am back from my trip then.... :)
